I want to write up quite a bit, but I am keeping it short for now. Nehemiah has greatly enjoyed meeting his family here and just continues to thrive. He is a couple of days shy of being 8 weeks old now and has grown so much! It'll be fun to see how big he is at our next doctor's appointment. He talks and smiles more and more every day and has been figuring out how to bounce himself in the bouncer. It is just as cute as can be to watch him work his arms and legs so hard! This means he has also learned a bit of how he can play in the water during bath time. He doesn't do it every time yet, but a couple of times, he has had a blast kicking his legs in the water. Definitely working hard to make his Appa proud!
He is also discovering his hands and likes to try to put his fist in his mouth. Earlier today, he apparently got his thumb in there and started to suck a little, but wound up making a face so as to say, "What was that?!"
Anyway, I'll just share that for now. I pray you all had both a great end to 2009 and a wonderful start to 2010 and that the year is full of many blessings. We have already begun ours incredibly blessed and can't wait to see what else is in store for us.

cutest.santa.ever. We hope you are continuing to have the most wonderful time! The tree is doing well. Dexter ignores it mostly, but he did enjoy it when we had it all lit up. Procrastinating on taking it down now, but you know how it is...
